Frequently Asked Questions

No BS, just straight answers.

🚚 Shipping & Orders

Q: How long does it take to get my order?
Orders ship out within 1–2 business days (same day when I'm on the ball).
Delivery time varies based on your location, but we're quick.
For detailed info: Check out our full shipping policy →

Q: Are you always operational?
Pretty much—it's a small-batch, one-man setup, so sometimes I’ll duck out for a surf, recharge the batteries, or just take a breather. I'll always give you a heads-up though—clear notice at the top of the site and on socials, no surprises.

🐮 Beef & Ingredients

Q: Is your jerky soft or hard?
It’s the real stuff — tougher at first, then softens as you chew, bringing out the flavour and the natural taste of our grass-fed beef.
If you're used to soft servo jerky, this'll feel different… but once you're in, there's no going back.
We cut against the grain too — easier to chew, less risk of losing teeth.
(Even though i do enjoy jerky that rips ya teeth out too!)

Q: Let’s talk beef?
We use 100% Aussie grass-fed beef — naturally raised and free-roaming.
All of it comes from local producers around Kyogle and the Northern Rivers. No feedlots, no weird additives, no shortcuts.
If the meat’s not good to start with, the jerky’s not worth making.

Q: What is grass-fed beef, anyway?
Grass-fed beef comes from cattle raised on pasture and fed a natural grass diet — no grains, fillers, or weird processed stuff.
It’s better for the animal, better for the land, and better for you — leaner, cleaner, and full of good stuff.
Plus, the flavour actually tastes like beef.

Q: Where are your ingredients sourced?
We source locally whenever possible — like our raw bush-flower honey from old mate John up the road in Shark Creek, fresh jalapeños from the Yamba farmers market, and zesty limes out of Byron Bay.
We always prioritise high-quality ingredients that taste real and do the jerky justice.

Q: Do you use any nasty ingredients?
No way. We use only natural ingredients, small-batch sauces, and make all our marinades from scratch — that’s why it tastes so good.

Q: Are your products gluten-free?
Unfortunately not at this stage.

🔁 Product Info

Q: What’s the shelf life of your jerky?
Around 6 months unopened. Once opened, enjoy within a week for the best taste.

Q: Are the bags resealable?
Sure are — keeps the freshness locked in.

Q: What’s your most popular flavour?
Honey Teriyaki is currently the best seller, followed closely by the OG.

🏕️ Markets & Events

Q: Do you do markets?
Yep — although I’ve pulled back a bit and am transitioning more into online and wholesale, you can still find me at the weekly Yamba Farmers Market and the monthly Yamba River Market.

I also show up at a bunch of big events and festivals throughout the year — best way to keep up to date is to follow along on Instagram or Facebook for market dates and pop-up updates.
